Resource summary
Kirchhoff's First Law
The sum of the currents entering any junction is always equal to the sum of the currents leaving the junction.
If they don't add up: ammeters may have bit of resistance, rounding errors
Electron flow: negative to positive Conventional current: positive to negative
Conventional - incorrect
Measuring current: flow of electrons
Voltage = resistance x current
Higher the resistance, smaller the current
Adding ammeter changes resistance - changes current
Ideal ammeter has 0 resistance
Ammeters added in series
