• Humanism is a very big part of the renaissance period. There were a lot of humanists and the concept of humanism is what made the renaissance to wealth.

   • Humanism promotes individual thinking. Humanism is to achieve individual success.

   Annotations:

   • Machiavelli is a very famous humanist during the renaissance period. He has been known to be the founder of the modern political science.

• Florence, Italy is the heart of trading which lead to the prosperity of the renaissance period.

   • The Medici family lived in Florence. They were the wealthiest family at the time and controlled the city states.

   • During the Renaissance, classical ideas were also vastly used.
3. Non-religion themes

   • During the renaissance, non religious themes for artworks started to appear due to humanism.

• Gutenberg is famous for creating the movable type. It changed literature during the renaissance period.
