They are the basic stuctural and functional unit of life
its a very small piece of transparent like jelly substance which is the CYTOPLASM and a thin covering which is the CELL MEMBRANE
UNICELLULAR
organisms made up of only one single cell eg:-bacteria
MULTICELLUAR
organisms which have many cells eg:-birds
COMMON STRUCTURAL FEATURES
Cytoplasm:-chemical reactions takes place
Cell membrane:-controls the entry and exit of molecules in and out of the cell.
Nucleus:-controls all cell activities.
Plant Cell
They have -cell membraine, cytoplasm, nuclueus, cell wall, perminante vacuole and chloroplast
Cell wall:-it is tough and gives the plant cell a definite shape, protection and also support to the cell and prevents it from bursting.
Choroplast:- absorbs light energy for photosynthesis and gives the color green to the plants.
Vacuole:-contains a fluid called cell slap and stores food.
Animal Cell
They have:- cytoplasm, cell membraine, nucleus, temporary vacuuole
