Programmer
1. Implementation/ Development stage
2. Talks with client for project feedback
3. Follows design specification
4. Talks with system designer
5. Creates software solutions and technical documents

Tester
1. Testing stage
2. Follows test plan by designer or creates a test plan
  1. Selects test data
  2. Conducts black (modular) and white (whole system) box testing
3. Tests the user documentation
4. Looks for error in system
  1. Works against programmer
    1. Programmers are less motivated to find errors
  2. Test system to limits
  3. Documents results in testing
    1. Feedback to programmer to improve system
