Fractions to percentages
Times the fraction until the denominator is
100. The nominator is the percentage.
e.g. 5/10 times 10
= 50/100 = 50%
Decimals to percentages
With a decimal the last digit has to be in the
hundredth column. If the last digit is in the tenth
column add a zero on the end, if the last digit is past
the hundredth column the percentage is a decimal
percentage.
e.g. if the decimal is 0.75 the percentage is 75%. If the decimal is 0.2 you change it
to 0.20 which means the percentage is 20%. If the decimal is 0.275 the percentage
would be 27% but do not forget the extra digit meaning that the percentage is 27.5%
