- SALAM NURSERY was established in 1985 and operated out of a small
villa near Al Ghurair Center.
- By 1988, AL SALAM PRIVATE SCHOOL was established with the opening of a FS section in a villa
adjacent to the nursery. As the school expanded, the classes were extended to Grade 3.
- The school grew rapidly and with the growth came a demand for more space. As a
result, the nursery section was moved to Al Muteena Street.
- The school and nursery were then relocated to a new 4 villa complex in Hor Al Anz, opposite
Hamriyah Park and extended to Year 6.
- By the Grace of Allah, in 2000 we started construction of our own building in Al Nahda 2 – Al Ghusais,
that was to include the nursery, primary and secondary sections. We came to our present location in
2002 and continue to expand and grow for the better.

- UAE in 1971 was based just on the shipping and fishing industries. It was
popular for pearl diving and ship building.
- UAE in 1990 had few main roads and malls like Al Ghurair Centre.
- UAE in 2003 had major development with skyscrapers and towers
becoming common.
- UAE has now developed to become the country with the 37th HDI rank in the
world and Burj Khalifa being the tallest tower in the world.
- The future: New projects are coming up for the Dubai EXPO 2021 to
make the UAE the best in the WORLD!
