    1. Abraham

      Annotations:

      • Abraham is the founder of Judaism. He is the father of Hebrews. The Torah says that when Abraham was about 75 years old, God spoke to him. According to torah, all jewish were descended from Abraham. 
      1. Jesus

        Annotations:

        • Even Jesus starts the religion of Christianity but Jesus was born in a Jewish family.
        1. Solomon and David

          Annotations:

          • David is the first king of Israel. He got rewarded by god to become the king because he defeated the giant Goliath. David is not yet a grown up man but he fight the giant by himself and defeated him.  Solomon is the son of David. He is the second king of Israel. Solomon build the first temple in Jerusalem for jewish to worship god. 
          1. Moses

            Annotations:

            • Moses is the greatest leader of Hebrew. Moses led the Hebrews out of slavery in Egypt. God told Moses, “I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” Moses listen to the god and went to the pharaoh and told him to free the Israelites. But the pharaoh refused, and god punished Egypt with a terrible plagues. Finally the pharaoh free the Israelites.
            1. Torah

              Annotations:

              • Torah is the Hebrew Bible. Torah means "God's teaching". In the Torah there is different story that teach the basic laws of Judaism.
              1. Ten Commandments

                Annotations:

                • The Ten Commandments is the basic laws and moral teachings that god gave to Moses. According to the Torah, Moses received the Ten Commandments  on the Mount Sinai which is also called the "Mountain of God". 
              2. Christianity
                1. Jesus

                  Annotations:

                  • Christianity is base on the teaching of Jesus. Jesus started the religion even he is born in a Jewish family. Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah and believe that Jesus is the son of God.
                  1. Gospel

                    Annotations:

                    • Gospel is a book that got a lot of stories in it. In every different story there is different moral lesson and most of the story is about Jesus or it a story Jesus told his followers. There is 4 gospels in christianity which is written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the 4 gospels were also named Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
                    1. Messiah

                      Annotations:

                      • Messiah is the savior that God send to restore Rome which is Jesus. Christians belief that Jesus is the Messiah that people were talking about. But the Jews don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
                      1. Missionary

                        Annotations:

                        • Missionary is the people who spread the religion around. One famous missionary in Christianity is Paul. A missionary is very important to different religion because if there is no missionary to help spreading the religion, other people won't even know this religion. Also if the missionary didn't spread the teaching or story of different religion people won't want to follow the religion so missionary is really important.
                        1. Resurrecion

                          Annotations:

                          • According to the gospels Jesus got nailed on a cross and got left to die. But three days after Jesus died he rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples. But after Jesus appeared to his disciples he left and join his father, god n the heaven.
