Stimulus - Change in your environment. This could be a bright light
Receptor - The sense receiving the stimuli. This could be the eye
Sensory Neurone - Impulses are sent along this neurone to the CNS
Relay Neurone - Impulses reach a synapse these chemicals cause the impulses to be sent along the relay neurone
Motor Neurone - Chemicals are released between a synapse and are sent along the motor neurone
Effector - The impulses travel along to the effector
Response - The effector then responses, for example your pupils get smaller restricting the amount of light let through
