there are two equations we can use to calculate the speed of waves
speed (m/s) = Distance (m) / time (s)
speed = frequency (Hz) x Wavelength (m)
other equations
Distance = Speed x time
Time = distance / speed
Wavelength = Speed/ frequency
Frequency = Speed / Wavelength
A = Amplitude- the heigh of a wave from the middle
W = Wavelength= the length of one wave. measure from peak to peak!!
F = Frequency = number of waves produced per second. unit of frquency is hertz (Hz)
!!!!the Smaller the wavelengths, the higher the frequency!!!!! the bigger the wavelengths, the lower the frequency~!!!!
