On her way home Malala took the bus, where she was shot by a Taliban member.
Malala was sent to multiple hospitals but ended up in Birmingham, England.
The hospital in Birmingham was the only one that was equipped with the right tools to save her.
Two female passengers were also shot.
They both survived.
The Taliban took responsibility.
The Taliban said, "'Malala Yousafzai should be killed.'"
