A "flow state" is a term uses for when a person is totally engrossed in an activity. Terms in sports like "in the zone" or "focused" are commonly used describe what the "flow state is. Some attributes of the "flow state." One might minimize distractions to stay in the flow state One usually has a clear, achievable goal in mind. No need to feel so focused if you don't think you can reach your goal. One receives feedback in order to motivate themselves in continuing their energy and focus. One enjoys the flow state. No point in focusing you don't want to enjoy the end result.
