A Cellular plan office is a small-medium sized office, mainly used by managers, with a door and windows. 

Advantages of a Cellular Office are1) Good Security (can be locked, for security reasons)2) Not as many distractions3) Good for discussing confidential information and meetings4) Good Privacy5) Imply a certain status e.g. Management

Disadvantages of a Cellular Office are:1) Junior Staff find it hard to approach Senior Staff2) Harder to supervise other staff3) Separate offices cost more because of heating4) Takes up more room

An open-plan office is a large office with broken down work places to accommodate a small group of workers. 

Advantages of a Open Plan are1) Easier for staff to interact2) Layout can be altered easily3) Staff Supervision is easy4) Cheaper

Disadvantages of a Open Plan are1) Not as good security2) Distractions3) Noisy4) Not as much privacy5) The people may feel impersonal
