Masculine and Feminine (ذُكوري و أُنْثَوي)

In Arabic, to make a word feminine, we typically add "taa' marbuta" (ة) at the end of the word.  Examples: كلب  (dog) --> كلبة          طفل (child) --> طفلة       مهندس (engineer) --> مهندسة There are exceptions to this rule such as: سماء (sky) and  ريح (wind).
