For example Margaret Thatcher's image was strong, confident and professional, This could be a main reason as to why she was elected a second time, the Image of the party leaders are important in elections, because the more positive things the public hear and see, the more likely they are going to vote for them. for example after the April 15th 2010 fist television debates, the Sun put Nick Clegg at 51% and the Times gave him an extraordinary 61%, this gave him a very good image and it was very important and still is for leaders to have and utain a good image during elections.
