Step 1: Acknowledging and replying customer with the information below along with sending insurance claim form: Email template: Very sorry to hear of your damages . We are launching a full investigation through our carriers. In the meantime, please find attached the claim form which will need to be completed and emailed back to us. Please leave the Policy number and claim number as blank and forward us. We also require the below information: - 1) Please email photos of the boxes and damaged items. 2) Did you notify the driver of packages damaged on delivery as this is a requirement for insurance purposes and we will seek proof from the driver? 3) Any damaged or lost items would require a commercial receipt and repair quotation in the first instance. 4) Please note our insurance does not cover any prohibited items as agreed at the time of booking and listed in our terms and conditions https://www.dtdcaustralia.com.au/useful-information/forms/terms-condition/ any item which is listed under this list cannot be claimed under our insurance. Insurance also does not cover any damage to external packaging including boxes, suitcases, backpacks, bags, storage boxes, crates, tool boxes, etc. Insurance coverage is also not provided for any documents including legal documents, certificates, passports, books, magazines or documents of any kind. 5) Please note all claims must be brought to our attention within 7 business days of loss or delivery otherwise no claim will be assessed.
