Condom: rubber tube of thin latex, which is unrolled onto the erect penis used to prevent semen entering vagina method is quite reliable female condom: is a loose sheath which sits in the vagina for sperm collection. 2. Diaphragm: soft, shallow rubber cap which fits in the vagina and covers cervix it stops the sperm entering the uterus and coming in contact with an ovum 3. Spermicides: it comes in a form of gel, foam or cream inserted far up into the vagina to keep sperm out of uterus this process kills the sperm 4. Intra-uterine device (IUD) 5. Contraceptive Pill taken by female, they contain one or more hormones they prevent ovulation 6. Sub-dermal implants 7. Injectable contraceptives 8. Sterilisation
