The Major Writing Component will require of you basic research and the ability to apply conclusions from your research to a hypothetical fact pattern to predict a hypothetical outcome. You are to prepare not less than 1200 words based on the instructions and fact-pattern below. You may use any credible resources you deem valuable, however; YOU MUST USE A MINIMUM OF AT LEAST TWO (2) SUPREME COURT CASES. Included in the Files Section of this Course is a video for proper citation of SCOTUS cases. In responding to the questions below, DO NOT ASSUME FACTS NOT IN EVIDENCE. If you wish to discuss evidence not in the record below for the purposes of a distinguishing one argument from another, you MUST clearly identify what facts you have assumed and for what purpose. In organizing your paper, consider arranging your paper to follow the order of the questions asked below. We will discuss this assignment further in class.
