History is the study of events and people from the past
Sources Primary sources Secondary sources
Primary sources are directly from the past
Secondary sources are from a later date than the event, based on primary sources
Examples: CSO stats Autobiographies
Examples: Biographies History school book

Problems with sources
Problems with sources include:
Bias- Bias is a form of prejudice.It is highlighting only one side of the argument
Propaganda- Spreading information or false rumours to influence peoples opinions
Exaggeration- Stating that something is bigger or smaller than it really is
Accuracy- Sources can make errors or give false information. It is important for historians to double check info.
