Social Studies 'Resources'

In our social science class we are learning about important resources on Earth. We made brochure for each important resource. One of the resource was water. For each resource we need to research the information create brochure than share with others. Now lets look at what we learn in our class.

Sea Pollution

Water pollution, which includes sea pollution, is a major global problem. People contaminate the sea by throwing garbage and pollutants. In its massive amount of garbage made Garbage Island. The great Pacific garbage island is an island of plastic trash twice the size of the state of Texas and is floating in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Then fish can get diseases from sea and those fish comes to us, which pollution cause diseases in peoples.

Water shortage

Water shortage is caused by drought, global warming, or people who waste water. A framers suffer from water shortages which reduces the amount of grains. Then grain’s price goes up and many other people will starve including refugees. Also amount of country of water shortage will growth and more people will be desperate for our important resource water.

Drinking Water

First of all, In Earth there are 70% of water, but clean water that we could drink is only 3% of it. But because of people who waste water indiscreetly water are polluted and run out of it. Also we have another problem about sea pollution.
