Advantages of SMS are: It,s cheap-usually includednin mobile phone packages. Short messages can be sent. Can quickly connect many people around the world.

Disadvantages of SMS are: Only short messages can be sent. Can be difficult to type an SMS on a phone keypad. May not be delivered if the phone network is down.
