Analysis and questions

Analysis: The story is shows as the reality of the ranches and people at that time in the history, everybody wants to have good things and a good kind of life but it was not possible or at least it was not easy, it also describes the problems that person with the enough social abilities may have , as Lennie who had problems to get a job because he was not intelligent, Croolswho was discriminated by his race, and the candy who was not useful anymore but his age, we can compare the people with the old dog, when they are not useful they are left apart.

Questions: Do you see yourself as an old dog? Do you think that working for others is worth? Have you ever desired or liked something so much that you harmed it? Do you think that friendship could solve any obstacle? Is our contemporary society similar to the society of that time?
