what are the two mechanism of homeostatic regulation? autoregulation and extrinsic regulation
How does autoregulation work? This work by responding to some enviroment changes, where the organs or tissues adjust itself, to keep a constant internal enviroment. For example, low oxygen level increase chemicals which widens blood vessels to have more blood flow, meaning more oxygen delivered to cells that needs it.
what is extrinsic regulation? This reacts to any enviromental changes. it involves Nervous system releasing electrical signal to parts of the body or endocrine releasing chemical messenger, to keep a constant internal enviroment
