Surgical Suite Holds surgical table, anesthetic supplies & equipment
Treatment Area Inpatients get RX or diagnostics procedures
Grooming Area animals are bathed, coats are trimmed; cages are kepts for holding before & after grooming
Hospital Ward animals are confined pre & post surgical procedures
Isolation Area used to separate patients with transmittable diseases
X-ray Area contains x-ray machine and protective equipment for staff
Dark Room used to develop X-ray film
Laboratory Area clinical diagnostic procedures ; contains a microscope & equipment to analyze blood samples
Pharmacy Medications are stored
ALAT Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician ; help lab animal technician care for research facility animals
Breed Defect Any undesirable characteristic that may be genetically passed one generation to the next
