Questão Responda
B1.1 Cell structures Plant cells -contain the same as an animal cell but also CELL WALLS, CHLOROPLASTS and VACUOLE
Animal cells -found in animals and humans. -contain a NUCLEUS, CYTOPLASM, CELL MEMBRANE, RIBOSOMES AND MITOCHONDRIA. Microscopes -helps the specimens cells, tissues and other structures to be viewed . Makes them appear in detail and larger. -
Calculate magnification Magnification of eye piece X magnification of objective lense. E.g. eye piece=10. Objective= 4. 10 X 4= 40 Calculating size of an image Size of image= real size of object X magnification CAN BE REARRANGED.
Eukaryotic cells are animal and plant cells. Prokaryotic cells are bacteria. Bacteria cells. don’t have a nucleus PRO MENAS BEFORE NUCLEUS -Prokaryotic cells have A CELL WALL, CELL MEMBRANE, CYTOPLASM, PLASMID and a SINGLE LOOP OF DNA. - they also have ribosomes but do not have a nucleus.
Differences between the two -Eurkaryotic cells divide through mitosis. Prokaryotic divide through Binary fission. -Eukaryotic cells have DNA in the nucleus but prokaryotic only have a single loop.
