Extreme Longshot Usually contains a large amount of landscape and is usually shown at the beginning of a scene or film.
Long shot Contains landscape but gives the viewer a more specific view of the setting and where the action will take place.
Full shot Contains a full view of characters and their costumes.
Mid-Shot Contains the character or characters from the waist up.
Close-Up Contains just one characters face. Enables the viewer to understand the characters emotions.
Extreme Close-Up Contains one part of a characters face or other object.
Bird's Eye Angle Looks directly down upon a scene, includes an extreme long shot.
High Angle Looks down upon a character or object.
Low Angle Looks up at a character; makes the character look powerful.
