Who joined with Erhdhart? A leading right-wing politician called Wolfgang Kapp.
What were Erhdhart and Kapp's plan? Seize Berlin to form a new right-wing government with Kapp as Chancellor and reinstate the Kaiser.

Where did the Weimar Government move to when Berlin was seized? Dresden and then Struttgart.
What did Ebert originally decide to do in order put down the rebellion? Asked the Reichswehr.
What did the commander-in-chief of the army famously say when asked to attack the Freikorps and what was his name? Commander-in-chief von Seekt said: 'The Reichswher does not fire on Reichswher'.
What does this quote mean about the army and Freikorps? The Freikorps is made up of the soldiers who where let go from the army when the treaty of Versailles restricted the size.
What did Ebert and Schniedemann do instead? They called on the people of Berlin to not support the Kapp Putsch and asked them to strike.
Why was there little support for the Kapp Putsch? Trade unionists and civil servants supported the government as they were more left wing.
What is a trade unionist? A person involved with organisations set up to protect and improve the rights of workers.
What happened when the trade unionists went on strike? Essential services like water, gas, electricity and transport stopped and Berlin ground to a halt.
What did Kapp do with no essential services? He fled after realising that he couldn't govern. He was caught and eventually died in prison.
How was this method of putting down the Kapp Putsch different to the Spartacist Uprsing? This was non-violent.
