What does each one do? | - the first one carries nutrients and oxygen to the cells of the body. - the second circuit carries wastes and carbon dioxide from the cells back to the heart so it can be taken out of the body. |
What is oxygenated blood | Blood high in oxygen. |
What is deoxygenated blood? | Blood containing carbon dioxide. |
What is cholesterol? | A type of fat produced by animal cells. |
What happens if you have too much cholesterol in your body? | It starts to build up and eventually blocks your arteries. |
What are four things found in blood? | Red blood cells, white blood cells, platets and plasma. |
What is Haemoglobin | Part of a red blood cell that holds the oxygen in the cell. |
