What is inclusion? the action or state of including or of being included within a group or structure
What is inclusive practice? it means providing the support that is needed to enable all children to participate. it ensures all children have equality of opportunity and enables them to achieve their potential.
what is reflective practice? Reflective practice is the capacity to reflect on action so as to engage in a process of continuous learning. According to one definition it involves "paying critical attention to the practical values and theories which inform everyday actions, by examining practice reflectively and reflexively.
What are the skills needed for reflective practice? 1) self awareness 2) ability to view situations from a number of perspectives 3) ability to analyse critically and seek solutions 4) ability to use evidence in supporting and evaluating decision or position
what does reflective practice do? 1) identify strengths and weaknesses 2) plan next steps 3) problem solves 4) identify areas for professional development 5) supports continuous review 6) support the evaluation and planning cycle
