Economic Situation -Inflation increased by 400% 1914-17 -War debts of up to 8 million roubles -Owes a lot to France -Gap between wages and food prices -45% of economy was spent on the army and only 55% on the empire	Social Situation -Agriculture fell by 20% -Food was priority for the army Productivity rates fell by 20% -Workers left cities to go to country and grow their own crops -Potential starvation in cities
Political Situation (Opposing the Tsar) -Duma reassembled in 1915, critical of Tsarist regime -Tsarina appoints Boris Sturmer, rumoured to be Pro-German -Progressive Bloc formed (Kadets, Octoberists, Nationalists, Industrialists)	Tsarina and Rasputin -Believed to be superhuman (Heal Alexi) -A very close relationship (Scandal) -Rasputin had some power in government -16 changes in 1916 alone brought instability -Tsar lost his supporters (Court Circle and Aristocracy)
