There are many types of cells. They vary in shape and size depending on their functions (jobs). Each type of cell is well adapted to it's function.

Red Blood Cell Carries oxygen around the body. Full of a pigment called haemoglobin, this picks up oxygen. It also has no nucleus. Bioconcave disk goves a large surface area.
