What are the three types of muscle tissues? The three types of muscle tissues are skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscles.
What is the skeletal muscle? A muscle which is connected to the skeleton to form part of the mechanical system which moves the limbs and other parts of the body.
What is the cardiac muscle? An involuntary, striated muscle that is found in the walls of the heart.
What is the smooth muscle? Muscle tissue in which the contractile fibrils are not highly ordered, occurring in the gut and other internal organs and not under voluntary control.
What is an involuntary muscle? A muscle that contracts without conscious control.
What is a voluntary muscle? A muscle whose action is normally controlled by an individual's will.
What is the largest organ of your body? The skin.
What does the skin consist of? Tissues such as fat, dermis, epidermis, blood and blood vessels.
Name all the systems in the human body. The respiratory system, the skeletal system, the nervous system and the reproductive system.
What is the vascular tissue? A complex conducting tissue, formed of more than one cell type, found in vascular plants.
