Questão Responda
Why do designers use Rapid prototyping/3D Printing? (What are its advantages?) -To increase effective communication -To decrease development time. -To decrease costly mistakes. -To minimize engineering changes
What are the TWO types of Rapid prototyping/3D Printing? -Stereolithography -Selective laser sintering
Describe Stereolithography Allows 3D CAD drawings to be created in a matter of hours. The image is created on a compute, then printed out as a 3D form.
What are the advantages of Stereolithography? -Quick -Cheap -Easy
Describe Selective Laser Sintering 3D CAD drawings are created. Works by thin layers of powder being sintered together (melted) by a laser beam. Thousands of layers eventually make up the final product.
What are the advantages of Selective Laser Sintering? -Can be done with a variety of materials -Quick Process
