Resumo de Recurso

Questão Responda
Increasing temperature Increasing the temperature increases the rate of the reaction in both directions because at higher temperatures particles have more energy and move faster Particles have more frequent collisions More collisions have total energy of at least the activation energy so they are successful
Increasing pressure Increasing the pressure increases the rate of reaction in both directions because there is an increased number of particles per unit of volume so increased collisions per unit of time
Adding catalyst A catalyst provides an alternative route with a lower activation enthalpy This means the rate of reaction is increased (an equal amount in both directions)
