Questão Responda
Expand: 3(x + 2) The "3" on the outside must multiply both terms inside the brackets. = 3x + 6 If: 3y(x + 2) ,then you would do the same with the "y" = 3yx + 6y
Expand: (x + 5)x Even though the brackets appear first, you still multiply the outside "x" with both terms inside the brackets. = x² + 5x
Expand: x(x - y) The "x" on the outside must multiply both terms inside the brackets. = x² - xy
Expand: -3a²(3 - b) Both terms inside the brackets must be multiplied by "-3a²" = -9a² + 3a²b
