    1. A sick Child. Simon Jones has a good job at Uptown Pharmacy, but he was absent a lot last month. He called his manager twice a week. The problem was that Simon´s son had a fever and earache, and Simon needed to stay home with him. Simon´s wife sometimes stayed home with their son, but she had to go to work, too. Simon´s manager understood Simon´s problem, but he didn´t like other employees to work when Simon wasn´t there. Simon took his son to a doctor. The boy got better, and simon went back to work. The manager made a new work plan. All the employees are happy with it. Now Simon´s manager doesn´t worry.
