  3. example problem
    1. A 5kg box is being pushed to the right 5N. Find the acceleration.
      1. Fnet=ma
        5=5a
        a=1m/s^2

1. every action has an equal opposite reaction
  1. BUT the 2 forces don't cancel out b/c they are acting on each other - 2 diff objects
other handy things to know
1. gravity acceleration on earth is -9.80 m/s^2
2. 1 kilogram, kilometer, etc = 1000 meter/gram/etc
