COMMUNICATION PROCESS SKILLS

good communication skills are an important factor in job success.
Your thoughts and ideas can be misinterpreted if cannot speak clearly, either verbally or in writing.
The communication process has five key elements: source, encoding, channel, decoding and the receiver
First it must be clear why you are communicating and what message you want to convey.
Put your message in the appropriate style and format so that your audience understands it easily.
Examine the channel you are going to use, such as a face-to-face meeting, a phone call, an email, or a report.
Each communication channel has different strengths and weaknesses, so be sure to use the one that best suits your message.
Decoding is the process of reading or listening to a message and getting a meaning from it.
Finally, you should consider the recipient of your message and the context in which it will be received.
