2.4 - Cells to organism
  1. Organ Systems
    1. The organs in your body do not work independently. Organs are organised so that they can work together to complete a task. These organs form an organ system
      1. Tissues!
        1. Plants have fewer organs and organ system than animals. These organs and tissues enable the plant to carry out essential functions such as photosynthesis.
          1. xylem - carries water from the roots phloem - carries glucose from the leaves to all other plant parts
              1. The types of tissues: epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue, nerve tissue
                  1. Epithelial tissue is made up of cells that form surfaces over other organs.
                    1. Connective tissue supports and hold together other tissues in your body
                      1. muscle tissue can contract, becoming shorter and fatter, biceps are a muscle tissue
                        1. Nerve tissues send electrical signals around the body, these signals are managed by the nerve tissues in the brain and passed down the spinal cord.
