THE PLANTS

Photosynthesis is the process when plants eat and breath.
1. During the day, the plants absorve carbon dioxide and expulse oxygen.
2. At night, plants absorve oxygen and expulse carbon dioxide.
3. Plants needs solar energy, water and CO2 to make raw sap.
  1. Raw sap go to the leaves and the raw sap changes to glucose.
    1. They expulse the oxygen that they don't need.
PARTS OF THE PLANTS: Roots, stem and leaves.
1. The parts of the leaves are petiole, blade, stomata and veins.
2. Seeds are necessary for plants to grow.
3. The stem hold the plant.
4. When the plant is little, the bud protects the plant.
5. Flowers
  1. Some plants have flowers (angiosperm).
  2. Some plants don't have flowers (gymnosperm).
6. Fruits
  1. Some plants have fruits.
Plants need energy to perform their basic functions.
Plants are important because....
1. They provide us with oxygen to breath.
2. Living things eat plants to survive.
3. They consume carbon dioxide which is toxic to most living things.
