                          1. they’re used for food and folk medicine, their paws are considered as a delicacy and other parts of the body for Chinese traditional medicine

                              1. foxes, insects, and prey depend on bears
                                1. foxes depend on bears for their own prey
                                  1. rely heavily on scavenging polar bear kills
                                    1. if a bear is set to get a seal, the seals attention is on the bear, therefore the seal would never see the fox coming for it too
                                    2. insects that feed on bears
                                      1. the bears prey will start to over populate so the bears will have to control it
                                        1. top level predator necessary for healthily functioning ecosystems
                                          1. as scavengers, they clean up dead animal carcasses
                                            1. which would pollute and spread disease everywhere
