William Shakespeare

Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon in warwickshire in 1564
1. Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616 at the age of 52
Shakespeares father was a glover and his mother was daughter of the wealthy Robert Arden of Wilmcote
When he was 18 he married Anne Hathaway who was 26 . Shakespeare had 3 children Susanna,Hamnet and Judith. Hamnet died at 11 years old
Between 1585 and 1592 are referred to as Shakespeare 'lost years' as there is little know about him during this period
In 1594 he was part owner of the theater company lord Chamberlain's Men
as well as hamlet he wrote dramas Julius Caesar and king Lear
Shakespeare owned 7 properties including New Place the second largest property in Stratford
