- Irony: When the things that the reader wait
that happens and occur the contrary. I really
expect that Elena be with her husband for
ever and ever.
- Realism: It gives us a picture of
real life.. in "Eleven" the children voice is not heard.
- Foreshadowing: These are the clues the author put for
what is going to happened. in the "the mirror" when
the author told us what happen when Elena looked
into the mirror.
- Cause and effect: It is the direct
result of another: After Hellen
looks in the mirrors she becomes
happier and younger.
