2. Structures
  1. Positive
    1. Subject + was/were + adjective or complement
      1. Obama was the president of the USA.
    2. Subject + verb past simple + complement
      1. We lost our frog two years ago.
  2. Negative
    1. Subject + wasn’t/weren’t+ adjective or complement
      1. They weren’t in South Korea
    2. Subject + didn’t + infinite verb + complement
      1. I didn’t sing electronic music. But now I love it.
  3. Question
    1. Was/Were + Subject + adjective or complement + ?
      1. Were you in the park yesterday?
    2. Did + Subject + infinite verb + complement + ?
      1. Did Lucas want to dance?
  4. Answer

Past Continuous
1. Uses
  1. 1.- Actions that started in the past and whose duration you want to highlight.
    1. Liss was making pancakes for her sister in the morning.
  2. 2.- An action that was interrupted by another.
    1. They were cleaning their garden when a flower pot fell.
2. Structures
  1. Positive
    1. Subject + was/were + verb (ing) + complement
      1. Anne was watching the TV show.
  2. Negative
    1. Subject + wasn't/weren't + verb (ing) + complement
      1. Felix wasn’t driving his car because it was damaged.
  3. Question
    1. Was/were + Subject + verb (ing) + complement + ?

  4. Answer

Past Perfect
1. Uses
  1. 1.- An action that happens before another
    1. I had visited my grandmother before I bought pizza.
  2. 2.- Before a specific time in the past
    1. I had gotten up when the clock rang at 06:30 a.m.
  3. 3.-An action that started in the past and finish in a specific time
    1. I had been happy in all my jobs until I got this one
  4. 4.- Conditional sentences
    1. If she had waited, she would have gone to her house with her mother.

    1. Subject + had + Verb (Past Participle) + Complement
      1. Mary had finished her virtual classes.
  2. Negative

Past Perfect Continuous
