Resumo de Recurso

Photosynthesis
  1. word equation = carbon dioxide + water - light energy - chlorophyll = glucose + oxygen
    1. glucose used for respiration
      1. light energy from the sun
        1. water from the rain
        2. cells
          1. root hair cells
            1. root hair cells have a large area to absorb water it also has no chlorophyll because it does not photosynthesise because they are underground and gets no light
            2. palisade cell or plant cell
              1. It has lots of chloroplasts which contains chlorophyll to catch light energy they are long and thin packed closely together to catch as much light is possible
            3. testing leaves for starch
              1. which colours do well for photosynthesis and don't
                1. purple and red are good for photosynthesis because they have big wave length
                  1. dark blue and green don't do well in photosynthesis because they have small wave length
