3. Chemistry panel
  1. Exclude
    1. Tumor lysis syndrome
    2. Ureteral obstruction by retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy
4. Serology for infectious disease
  1. HBV, HIV, etc.
5. ANA antibody
  1. +SLE is associated with increased risk of death
6. Hemoccult bleeding
  1. Exclude GI bleeding and anemia
7. Chest X-ray
  1. Hilar or mediastinal adenopathy
8. Immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry
  1. Check for immunophenotype expression
9. CT scan
  1. Evaluate enlarged lymph nodes
10. Bone marrow aspiration
11. LDH and B2-microglobulin

Staging
1. Grade I
  1. Only one group of lymph nodes affected anywhere in the body
2. Grade II
  1. Two or more groups of lymph nodes affected, all on the same side of the diaphragm (either above or below)
3. Grade III
  1. Lymph nodes affected on both sides of the diaphragm
4. Grade IV
  1. Spread to at least one body organ outside the lymphatic system
Management
1. Chemotherapy
  1. ABVD
    1. Doxorubicin (Adriamycin)
    2. Bleomycin
    3. Vinblastine
    4. Dacarbazine
  2. Stanford V
    1. Doxorubicin + Vinblastine + Mechlorethamine + Etoposide + Vincristine + Bleomycin+ Prednisone
  3. BEACOPP
    1. Bleomycin + Etoposide + Adriamycin + Cyclophosphamide + Vincristine (Oncovin) + Procarbazine + Prednisone
2. Radiation therapy
