RAM and ROM
  1. What does RAM stand for?
    1. RAM stands for Random Access Memory
      1. What does it do?
        1. Your RAM is a type of data which is wiped every time your computer is shut down.
          1. Every time you save your files, it is wiped from the RAM and put on the ROM.
            1. It can sometimes be referred as the computers brain
              1. It is only wiped so that it can make room for other applications to run.
        2. WHat does ROM stand for?
          1. ROM stands for Read Only Memory
            1. What does it do?
              1. Once any data on your computer has been written on to ROM, it can not be deleted. Unlike RAM, ROM saves all data, even when it has been turned off.
                1. ROM is nonvolatile memory, whereas RAM is Volatile.
            2. Volatile Memory?
              1. Volatile Memory is a type of computer storage which only keeps it's data when it is powered on. This can mainly be considered as RAM rather than ROM.
