  1. What is it?
    1. A project schedule is a timetable that shows the start and end dates of all project tasks. It includes many resources to improve the project management.
    2. Why is it helpful?
      1. 1. Collaborate effectively with remote resources and build personalised task lists. 2. Sync calendars to automatically account for resource availability. 3. Communicate efficiently with all stakeholders.
        1. Types of project schedule
          1. Master project schedule
            1. It is summary level schedule that highlights the key tasks and their estimated duration.

                2. What should a project schedule contain?
                  1. Deliverables, task description, task duration, task start and end date, task dependencies, project calendar, work packages, budgets, resource availability, schedule risk analysis, etc.
                  2. How to collect the information?
                    1. Project Management Software
                      1. This information collection technique uses software for project planning, resource allocation and scheduling.
                        1. Examples: MeisterTask, Basecamp, Nifty, Teamwork Projects, ProofHub, Zoho Projects, Trello, JIRA, Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, etc.

                        1. It is a process in which questions are asked to know what to do in the project.
                          1. 01- What needs to be done? 02-When will it happen? 03-Who will do it?
                            1. Once the questions are answered and the project is starting, there are 10 steps to effectively schedule the time:
                              1. Confirm the project activities, sequence activities, determine dependencies, determine durations, establish milestone, allocate resources, assess risks, define baseline schedule, monitor and control and report on any changes to the schedule.
                        2. Project scheduling tools and techniques
                          1. Project managers use a range of tools and techniques to create, track and control their project schedules.

                                  2. Schedule network analysis
                                    1. It is a graphic that depicts the interrelationships and timing of all project activities in chronological order.
                                    2. Critical path method
                                      1. It adds the times of all critical activities, taking into account dependencies, to determine the earliest time that the project can be completed.
                                      2. PERT charts
                                        1. This chart estimates time with a different method, it can be compared to the critical path method.
