Resumo de Recurso

The I of Jane Eyre
  1. Characterisation
    1. We learn about the character through her actions
      1. We may also learn from other people's reaction to her ie: how they act, what they tell her, what they don't tell her
        1. That leads to very valuable character interaction
    2. Where the character does not know all about herself, it lets her learn on the go as we do and creates a greater suspense
      1. We also learn through her own self-analysis
      2. Works because the plot is restricted to what is relevant to the character
        1. Concise
        2. Much closer to life because there is no imposed right and wrong, allows for different interpretation of the story
