Tissue- collections of cells with specific functions
Cell- fundamental unit of all life
Organelle- structures within cells with specific functions
Molecule- two or more atoms (elements from the periodic table)
Atom- simpleist unit of matter that has certain properties
Viruses
not composed of cells

has to infect a host cell inorder to reproduce-- takes over the cell which then in turn does the infecting and reproducing
Cells - fundamental unit of life, containing DNA
Prokaryotic - before the nucleous
lacks membrane bound organelles
always unicellular

example: bacteria
Eukaryotic - true nucleous
contains membrane bound organells
unicellular or multicelluar
examples: plants, animals, fungi
