The Treaty of Versailles
  1. Military Parts
    1. Army was limited to 100,000 men and weren't allowed any tanks
      1. Rhineland became de-militarised
        1. Navy were allowed 6 battleships but no submarines
          1. The airforce was scrapped
            1. Rhine was occupied by the Allies for 15 years
            2. Land/Territory
              1. North Schleswig given to Denmark
                1. The Polish Corridor (West Prussia and Posen) given to Poland
                  1. Upper Silesia given to Poland
                    1. Alsace Lorraine given back to France
                      1. Eupen and Malmedy were given to Belguim
                        1. The Saar was under the League of Nations for 15 years
                          1. Lost all of its over seas colonies
                          2. War Guilt
                            1. Article 231 meant that Germany had to admit that they had started the war
                              1. Germany had to pay 6.6 billion in reparations
                              2. Other Parts to the Treaty
                                1. Germany couldn't unite with Austria
                                  1. The Allies had to occupy the Rhine for 15 years
                                  2. Why did the Germans hate the ToV?
                                    1. The Cost of Reparations would put them in debt
                                      1. They had lost 13% of their land, making them lose their staus at the time
                                        1. Citizens of Germany would need to travel through Poland to get back into Germany
                                          1. They felt that they couldn't defend themselves with their military reductions
